Journey to Jokkmokk
Sweden - Norrbotten

In the far north of Sweden the indigenous Sami people have traded their reindeer-sleigh for snow mobiles. Mostly. They still have a close connection to the wilderness, the snow and a few thousand reindeer in the forest. Every spring when the skies turn blue the Sami people get together to share some fun and friendship. The snow is deep and the lakes are frozen, perfect conditions for ice-fishing.
