King Island in Winter

King Island / Australia
47 images

A wild island full of delicious treats and enthralling coastline. Oceanic winds bring wild weather in the winter, but in between the clouds the low sun bathes King Island in brilliant light. In the space of just 3 days I journeyed the island with Ian Rolfe and got a taste of why he keeps coming back. Great people, great scenery and a luxurious peace and quiet for photographers.

Photography for Travellers

Ewen's guiding principles are simple...
"Go slow. Get closer. Look for the light."

Hashed

"Photography is about showing other people how to see, to share the beauty of life. It's not a job, it's a lifestyle. We only get one lifetime, one chance to add some light into the world. Photography competitions are mostly silly. Cats are excellent."
