Nowa Nowa Photo Photo

Slow photography weekends: the masterclass workshop that explores photography for artists.

This two day workshop is aimed at photographers who want to express their artistic nature. Nowa Nowa is a charming town in Gippsland Victoria and is home to many unique and talented artists. The studio and artists retreat of Gary Yelen will be our base for exploring art and the camera. The course syllabus is tailored to push your creative boundaries, to give you hands-on experience with 'using your camera as a paint brush' and each participant will be encouraged to explore a few advanced techniques.

If you're looking for a purely technical workshop then Nowa Nowa Photo Photo is not for you. If you want to cultivate an artistic appreciation for your camera and pickup some practical technical skills then come and spend a weekend in Gippsland.

Registration cost includes accommodation, all meals, facilities and detailed notes. You will need a digital SLR to make the most of this workshop and we also reccommend you bring your laptop computer (MAC or Windows) if you have one.

Workshop registration costs $990. The maximum group size is 10 people.
