For tours and book purchases on this website.
Book purchases are final and will not be refunded once the order has shipped. If the order has not shipped we can offer a refund minus any credit charges that occur at our end, typically 2.5% of the total amount. We cannot refund you if the supplied address for delivery is wrong. We are limited by the terms of service with the carrier, and it is rare that they allow for delivery address to be changed by anyone other than the addressed recipient.
In the event of a book being damaged in the post or incomplete due to a misprint, we will ask for proof of the faults and arrange a replacement. Replacement is agreed to at our discretion. All items are sent with "signature on delivery" and are tracked. If the tracking fails on a parcel we will resupply the book.
We have a firm policy that tour payments are not refundable. For this reason we insist that our companions have travel insurance, and ask that they arrange insurance as soon as they book their flights. Most insurance policies will cover you for a wide range of conditions that occur even before you travel, including family illness or personal health.
