Nepal - Kathmandu Valley
The Newari Caste are the artisans of Nepal, creating pottery and woodwork that appeases the eye. Small villages in the Kathmandu Valley are filled with talented Newari people and their crafts. It's not all about souvenirs either, it's just a way of life.
These images were shot during recent photography tours in Nepal.

"Photography is about showing other people how to see, to share the beauty of life. It's not a job, it's a lifestyle. We only get one lifetime, one chance to add some light into the world. Photography competitions are mostly silly. Cats are excellent."
