Viltrox 28mm F4.5 CHIP for L-Mount
The fascinating and quirky Viltrox 28mm F2.5 CHIP has now been released for L-mount. This is a super small lens that pairs well with super small camera bodies such as the Lumix S9 and Sigma BF.

This lens won't be for everybody. It's not the lens you buy to upgrade from some other lens, rather it's the lens you buy to stop over thinking the act of photography and just enjoy it a little more.

I own the Lumix S9 and have struggled to find many lenses that don't look ridiculous on it. Every lens is too large for this body. I suspect it's a similar issue on the Sigma FP and BF. Lumix themselves released a sort of pancake lens for the S9, that was 26mm and fixed at F8 with manual focus. It's not great and not something I ever wanted to shoot with. This little Viltrox is definitely a huge step up from that, with working AF and an integrated lens cover that slides out of the way.

I have lots of example photos in my YouTube video, do take a look. I can see myself using this lens a fair bit when I feel like I should carry a camera but don't want to carry a proper kit. Those times when I want photos for me, not for work.
