Landscape Photography Workshops
With Ewen Bell & Ian Rolfe
Every year I team up with my good buddy and respected landscape artist Ian Rolfe. We combine his decades of experience shooting and selling landscape photography with my decade of experience running incredible and inspiring photo tours. Together we venture into some of the most photogenic places in the world, with a touch of style and a depth of teaching experience. We keep the group sizes small and the adventure factor big. It's our goal to help you return home with images that you will value for a lifetime.
Editorial photographer, journalist and publisher of "Photography for Travellers" website. Ewen has spent over a decade running photo tours and workshops
in Australia, the Arctic and Asia. Ewen will share his knowledge on any aspect of photography you wish to explore, from careers to cameras to salted caramel macarons.
Ian is a Master of Photography APS, a member of the VAPS committee and currently serves as President of Southern Suburbs Photographic Society. Few landscape photographers can match his passion for the art or his ability to impart knowledge and skills. Ian is generous with his time on the workshops and keen to ensure all his travellers capture the beauty he sees.
What a fantastic week I had with Ian and Ewen observing and learning from such great photographers. When you become so relaxed with these notable and reputable guys and they feel like your friends, it means that they are doing a superb job. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and energy is infectious and if you don't come away a better photographer after spending time with them you never will. I can still hear Ian's "whoooooooo" echoing from the other side of a gully or hill when the light and views come together and can't help but smile. Ewen's grabbing me on a creek bed for a unique one on one session to share his special photography recipe will stay with me forever. These guys have a wealth of talent and their love of the craft and super organisation of their workshops will leave you inspired to want more of what they have to offer. My bucket lists have just grown... thank you so much for the experience and will be back for more!

Photography for Travellers
Ewen's guiding principles are simple...
"Go slow. Get closer. Look for the light."
"Photography is about showing other people how to see, to share the beauty of life. It's not a job, it's a lifestyle. We only get one lifetime, one chance to add some light into the world. Photography competitions are mostly silly. Cats are excellent."
